Default Auto BCC outbound e-mail - 08-22-2007, 01:27 AM

My company does not use a BB server, so none of my sent messages are recorded anywhere, and are "lost." My thought: add a BCC to myself to everything outbound, that way I e-mail myself so I have a record of messages.
Is that a good solution, & if not, what else is there?

If so, how can I add a BCC automatically without having to enter each time I send?
Thanks!

I believe you can set that up on your BIS website.

Yes, you can set auto bcc on BIS setup at your carrier's website. You might also be able to edit your rules on the handheld (click set up internet email icon on your blackberry, or it may have slightly different name on yours) and go from there.

I do this with my Work account, I have a gmail account set up for this purpose. I just auto BCC inside the BIS account and I never have to worry about having a copy of my emails I sent out. And then I can turn off the view sent messages.
