Default Problems with my 7290 battery - 08-29-2007, 08:11 AM

Last weekend I felt down in a pond my bb was all wet, I open it and let it dry for the day and next day was working again, however my battery runs down really fast now, I thought my battery was the problem so I changed and now I'm using another one.

I charged up top 90% at night and turned off, next morning my battery was at 50% when i turned my bb on. What I can do??

thanks

I have seen recommendations here to let the unit dry for at least 2 to 3 days before trying again: (Got Your BlackBerry Wet? - BlackBerryFAQ)

Even though the unit appears to be working fine, it may be damaged (thus causing the quick battery drainage).

Someone else here, though, may have a suggestion.

I agree with Jeremy. Try letting it sit and dry out for a couple days. Then try again.
