Default Hi and a question - 09-06-2007, 09:24 AM

First off, Thanks for these forums, they've been very useful.

I'm about to get a Curve and wondered if the 6MB data package offered by Orange is adequate for daily use of both work and personal email?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance,
Ed

Welcome to the forums! If you are using email and plan on browsing the web I would suggest an unlimited data plan if one is offered. This will prevent you from having an outrageous phone bill.

Ed, that would be low for me, and about the only way to know will be to use it a 3-4 months and get an average.

Welcome to the Forums, and good luck.

Thanks for the replies.
I will see if I can get an unlimited deal as I presume the charges are high if I exceed my allowance.

As you get more familar with the on-line capabilities of the BB, the more you will use it. I would highly recommend the unlimited or you will end up sending another post on how you got an outrageous phone bill.

Edit your PROFILES on your BlackBerry. Advanced, choose Messages, and MUTE would do it.

Welcome to the Forums. Next time, unless your question has something to do with the topic at hand, please start a new topic to ask your question. Otherwise it is called "hijacking" and is not polite etiquette--and we know cowboys are polite, right?

Good luck.
