Default Hi - 09-07-2007, 10:57 AM

Just purchased my first Blackberry, a 7105t, off Ebay to sort of combine my Palm and cell phone for now. I'm with AT&T. Don't need email and internet yet. I kinda like tooling around with new gadgets even if I'm a little behind the times here ...

Plus my daughter's in college and starting to need more advanced electronics and I gotta stay one step ahead as she's already asking for a TREO (is that a bad word?) or a Blackberry Pearl/Blackjack.

And I'm kinda new to searching on forums. So much information and so many places .... So I'll apologize in advance for any dumb questions .....

Welcome to the forums . It is all a matter of what is needed and preference basically. If your daughter would get a pearl, you and her could PIN message back and forth, it would use data, therefore you would not have to pay txt messaging charges. Blackjack is an alright windows mobile device, I have read the battery life isnt great. I have never used a treo, so I wont wont give any advice there. This is a blackberry forum, I would say you will get alot of votes for the pearl. It is a great device though!

Welcome to the group!

There are no dumb questions if you search and look over the FAQ before you ask.
