I like having a secondary choice as a browser, and even though the new webkit browser is fantastic, I still enjoy some features of Opera mini.

Has anyone had success installing it on a OS 6 device?

And for those of us who don't have OS6 yet (aka 9650 users), has Opera been fixed so it works with a touch pad?

Worked awesome with my 9700. Absolutely no issues.

No the app is not usable on the 9650. I am not a big Bolt Browser, so the BB Browser is the sole choice

It will not let me install it. Fails during install.

Strange, it would not let me download it from m.opera.com but once I selected version and language deeper in the mobile site it downloaded and installed fine. Could of been just a glitch with Opera's site.

There seems to be compatibility issues with the Bold 9650

That's putting it mildly, lol. I got so frustrated trying to get the cursor to hold over the "close" button that I pulled the battery just to escape. For whatever reason, it does NOT like the trackpad on the 9650 - cursor jumps around like a lab puppy chasing a butterfly.

It seems that with Opera Mini on the Torch, you need to keep your finger on the trackpad and not hover over so fast. Like selecting the middle item of a 3-item list, you almost have to do a reverse scrolling on the trackpad to actually select the middle item. At least it was my situation when trying to select 'Clear All' in the History tab.

I have Opera Mini installed on my Torch and works fine, the only thing i found that doesn't work is pinch to zoom, I have to tap the screen to zoom in or out. I can scroll up and down a page by swiping the screen, select links by touching the screen. I don't need to use the trackpad at all.

This version should work. It works for me.
