This is an antique/vintage Rock Island #593 Bench top vice with 4\" jaws. It opens 7 1/2\" and weighs 41 lbs. Formally owned by the Birtman Electric company Rock Island division. This is a beautiful old vice that is ready to keep working. It has plenty of character and has had the paint removed, and has been cleaned up. This heavy old boy will last another hundred years if cared for properly.
