This kit allows for the safe retrieval of oil for dissolved gas analysis testing of your padmount transformer.
Shutdowns can be extremely costly for companies so most of the time preventive maintenance such as oil sampling is overlooked.
With this kit, you can
: Pull an oil sample while energized
: Apply nitrogen through a schrader valve
: Monitor gas pressure through a liquid filled pressure vacuum gauge
: Avoid costly/unexpected shutdowns by knowing your transformers condition
: Kit is mounted externally Severely reducing the risks of electrical exposure.
: After the initial install, you will no longer have to try and fight your way through cables and risk damaging your equipment.

Kit includes,
: 8x8x4 Nema 3R enclosure with padlock provisions
: Tamper proof Mounting hardware
: 1\" x 1/4\" bushing reducer for drain valve*** see note 3. below
: 1/4\" ball valve with barb fitting for easy sampling
: Pressure vacuum gauge measuring -30inhg to 15 psi
: 60\" high pressure oil line with high quality JIC fittings *** see note 1. below
: 8\' 1/4\" rubber hose for gas space monitoring with proper fittings *** see note 1. below
: 1/4\" x 3\" nipple with barb fitting with tee and plug (Plug will be removed for installation of your pressure relief device)
: Stick tabs and wire ties for securing gas space line
*** Note 1. All oil and air space lines are standard common lengths. If you feel you may need longer lines than the ones listed above due to a larger cabinet. Please message us for availability and lead time on longer hoses.
*** Note 2. Not for use on Silicone Filled units.

*** Note 3. If your drain valve is another size besides 1\". You will need the correct bushing reducer to get down to 1/4\" NPT. 1\" x 1/4\" reducer included. We can provide other size reducers if notified before shipment that a different size is needed.
