B&K Type 2143 - Real Time Frequency Analyzer with Power Supply:

Bruel and Kjaer portable real time frequency analyzer Type 2143. Includes power supply ZG 0199 and single channel input module model ZN 0442. Light on power supply lights up, but I cannot get the unit to power up. I do not have the expertise to get this unit working, nor do I know what is wrong with it. The engineers used this unit where I was working, but I haven\'t so I can\'t help to troubleshoot. Unit comes with everything shown in the pictures, but is being sold as is. Please let me know if you have additional questions or need more pictures.

Real-time Frequency Analyzers Types 2143, 2144 and 2148/7667have inputs on the back panel (see Fig. 2) for connecting accelerometers, microphonepreamplifiers, a sound intensity probe and direct electrical signals, and alsohave RS–232 and IEEE–488 input/output interfaces. Each of the signal inputs hasa dynamic range of more than 80 dB. Instantaneous overloads are indicated by anLED on the front panel. Cumulative overload indications are given on the screenas the percentage of the elapsed averaging time for which overload hasoccurred. Three different high-pass filters with – 0.1 dB cut-off frequenciesof 0.7 Hz (0.3 Hz for charge input), 20 Hz or 100 Hz can be selected for allinputs. In addition, an analogue A-weighting filter can be selected for themicrophone preamplifier input and the direct input. PreA-weighting allowsSLM-type measurements to be made, fulfilling IEC 651 type 1.
