Bergeon Model No 30076 Vintage Clock Mainspring Winder Swiss Made Used:
$499.00

Hi, I\'ll be listing a ton of watchmaking, clock-making,jewelry-making and related items over the coming months (or years). You will notice alowresponse score now but please note I didover a decadeago and amassed nearly 2000 positive responses before shutting down my account when I opened my retail brick and mortar shop. As it happens now, I have a LOT of stuff I need to liquidate and it makes more sense to sell it herethan anywhere else. If youhave any questions please feel free to messageme but please be awareI amtypically only able to checkmy account or email once or twice a day. If I don\'t get back to youimmediately it is not because I am ignoring you. I will make every reasonable effort to give you good descriptions and clear, well-lit photographs of every item I sell so hopefully you won\'t have many questions. PLEASE READ the descriptions. Thanks!

Here we have one of a clockmaker\'s most essential tools, the Swiss MadeBergeon No. 30076 Clock Mainspring Winder. This makes winding mainsprings and inserting them into barrels a confidence-building, precision experience compared to many other winders and being Bergeon, this is a toolbuilt to last as long and as oftenas you\'ll bewanting to use it.

I disassembled and inspected every single element of this set. Icleaned, oiled (with Ballistol, my favorite lubricant!), and inspected each piece to ensure everything fit together smoothly. The larger arbors haveretainer slots, the medium ones havemushroom-shaped anchor pins and the smaller arbors have simpler style straightpins, the smallest showing somerounding off- see photo. These pinsare replaceable if desired, and any hardened steelpin(made from a brokenwatch screwdriver shank, maybe?)that fits the hole should work. Aside from that, all the parts arethere and in good condition, including both the original outer cardboard box andmain hinged wooden box with latches.

This tool israrely stocked by anyclock supply companydue to its high cost and is usuallyshipped from the Bergeon factory in Switzerland if you order one new. You can bewaiting a month or more, and it typically runs about $1250.Offering this one for $529. Thanks for looking.

Please use the shipping calculator to figurepostagemore accurately. Thanks, and please messagemewith any questions...
