I read:
\"This Vacuum Evaporator is intended for use in an EM (electron microscopy) laboratory. Carbon or metal evaporative
coating, aperture cleaning, shadowing, and some freeze-drying are its primary functions. Large chambers and bulky
vacuum systems are not needed to accomplish these basic techniques. The functional design allows many additional
advantages.\"
I also read: \"Powerstat controls voltage applied during evaporation.\" And can see a unit in the pictures (on the site linked
above) - a side unit that I do not have. I suspect this is the \"Powerstat\". Obviously I cannot provide this side unit to you -
as I do not have it. Again, what you see is what you get.
But it does look nice and clean and I have not opened it from when it was decommissioned.
And I was not the one to put tape on it.
But, I will leave it as I found it, and you can be the first to open it.
