Are you looking for an investment in these hard times? A Fluke meter of this caliber will pay for itself the first few times you use it! AND it will last for years!
This unit is great condition. The top and bottom case are nicewith no signs of previous ownership such as names, tool #s, etc..Thelens is good with very little wear evident. The gasket is good. The display has been reconditioned so it is good for many years. This unit is very accurate even at upper frequencies which is rare.
NEW battery, NEW fuses.Also included: a new set of probes, quick reference guide the user\'s manual, DVD with the 70/170/80/180/8000 series manuals. This meterhas been completely checked out and is functional and fully accurate on all scales and all settings.I have shown this meter with accessories and with inputs of1 VDC and10 VAC, 100kOhms, whicharemeasured inputs from my calibrator.
TOO many times meters on are sold with old batteries and at least one blown fuse. Price what it will take to replace these items and you will see that the bargain you thought you had is just not there. See below for accuracy checks. Ser#: 47250829
MANY times meters are sold with missing, or depleted, batteries and missing or blown fuses (these fuses are VERY expensive). The buyer purchases the meter thinking he has a deal and finds that the expensive fuses are blown.... along with the deal he thinks he had. This is not the case with my meters. I check and replace defective components so that the buyer gets a meter which is fully capable AND I guarantee that you won\'t spend your first hour with this meter just cleaning them up so you can handle them.

NOTE that I have paid extra so that the buyer can see this item supersized and at different angles so that they know firsthand what they are offerding on.I try and take enough pictures and offer extra large frame viewing at my expense. I have shown the meter andaccessories as well as it\'s being connected to mycalibrator.
Let me note that the leads you see connected to the meter are from my calibrator are NOT probes and are not included. Neither is my calibrator, if it hasn\'t been described as included, you can assume that it isn\'t.
Please be advised**** The fuses in this unit have been tested in 2 manners. First, by passing a known current through the meter (and fused) circuits and Second, by testing them in the non-distructive manner (before the meter goes out) as prescribed by Fluke. This second process tests the fuses inside the unit by putting the meter in the ohms function and then placing one end of a probe in the positive jack and the other end in the designated current port. The fuse can safely be tested without ANY chance of blowing the fuse because it uses the meter\'s own circuit and a VERY small current.
