Product DescriptionThe Metasys Johnson Controls AS-UNT111-1 (ASUNT1111) is a unitary controller from the UNT series. The Unitary controller is an electronic device that may be used as a digital control for the following mechanisms: air handling units, fan coils, unit ventilator, heat pumps, and other such units that minister to a single room or place. If the AS-UNT111-1 is utilized as a constituent unit in a Metasys Network, it can become an I/O for basic point monitoring. When the AS-UNT111-1 is connected to the Metasys Network, the unit is able to supply control information to remainder of the network. Communication is made through an isolated N2 Bus.
The N2 Bus network, when connected to the AS-UNT111-1, gives commands to that unit, in return, the unitary controller feeds status reports. With the controller, the N2 Bus can endure up to 255 devices because of its electrical limit. The N2 Bus connects to other modules (including this unitary unit) by three wires that convey three signals: N2+, N2-, and REF.
The AS-UNT111-1 unitary controller has a voltage of 24VAC and a frequency of 50/60Hz. The controller has 6 analog inputs and 4 binary inputs just as every AS-UNT1XX-1. Its outputs unique to AS-UNT1X1-1 are 2 analog outputs and 6 binary outputs. The Input Output terminations for the terminals are quick connect spade lugs.
The AS-UNT111-1 operates best at temperatures between "-40 to 125 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 to 52 degrees Celsius)" to retain its normative operation, not keeping within this rating may be detrimental to the welfare of the controller.
