I selling brand new FLASH chip only, with all ready flashed firmware required for KUKA KRC1 RDW RDC BOARD. X28HC64J.You cannot just install empty brand new FLASH, it has to be with the proper operative system inside.In order your robot to be fully refurbished you need to change this flash chip as with the time that chip would wear and teared after so many writing into FLASH EEPROM.FLASH EEPROMS have limited number of writing, especially those with the technology produced 17 years ago and after 10 years robot start often to loose settings. As a result, need to be re calibrated and mastered again and again despite of installed brand new batteries.This can disturb production and often except calibration Robot need to be re programmed again.
This is brand new chip with all ready installed operative system so you can just take your own old chip from RDC board and replace with this brand new instead.It is compatible with all KRC1 types of robots for their RDC RDW boards. I did not tested with KRC2 and may be need for KRC2 different firmware, please contact me in order to find solutions if you have KRC2 robot.However I have successfully installed on many KRC1 robots , solving their problems with calibrations and MASTER settings.

As system integrator, instead buying again second hand PCB board not being sure of their anyway old condition and on top of that those boards are very expensive I change only what really need to be changed for every old Robot KRC1 in order to avoid future or present unreliable behaviors of old ROBOT KRC1.
First indication of wearing FLASH chip on KRC1 RDC RDW board is loosing MASTER settings even batteries are brand new.
Changing this chip is the best solution to repair your old boards on KRC1 Robot, making your robot more reliable.Way better solution to change with brand new FLASH on your existing RDC robot board then buying another used RDC board with similar problems having old used FLASH on them.
