Button seems of really high quality. The pins are really small so if you are not experienced at soldering I would definitely recommend getting the pre-wired version especially since it is only a few bucks more. The part inside of the ring is the only part that pushes in so the 16mm can be small if you have big fingers. I would definitely buy it again if a project presented itself. It is so worth a few extra dollars if you need a switch to not have some cheap, ugly switch from the hardware store

These guys don\'t play around with shipping!!! Loved how they sent a detailed report of expected delivery and issues that may cause for delay in receiving the part. Even with the holiday shipping schedules at the postal service I recieved my order in just 3 days!!!! Once I opened the package I knew what I had in my hand was going to be a great quality product. I didn\'t feel like a cheap plastic switch like other companies sell. I\'m glad I paid the extra couple of $$ for the switch to come pre wired as it made my installation quick and simple! The switch works exactly as described!! My only regret is that I wish I would have gone with the 25mm vs the 16mm. Not that I don\'t like it, only because my fingers are a little too big to positively engage the switch on the first try. I will be placing an order for more switches here in the very near future! Awesome little switch, I ordered the black switch to put in a black custom indoor electronics enclosure and it looks professional and fits great, this switch is smaller diameter and half the price of similar larger switches which really helps when you don\'t have a lot of space.
Best of all, it is both momentary and latching, I bought it as a latching switch but I have found that if you don\'t press all the way down to latch it, it makes a great momentary switch. The light ring lets you know when you have made contact, and there is a tactile response as well. My circuit mostly needs the latching but occasionally the momentary feature will be used for a quick reset.
It is also very low profile and shielded in such a way that you don\'t accidentally trigger the switch unless you want to turn it on, this was another important factor that convinced me to ditch the toggle switches I had, plus the built in light means I didn\'t have to drill and wire a separate LED hole.
This solves so many issues in one switch it is amazing, and it really looks good as well, much better than the toggle switches.

Using 2 of these switches to toggle 12v to lighting relays to avoid too much current and arcing through the switches. After installing in my dash and double checking my wiring, both switches were illuminated. I pulled off the OZ installed shrink tubing to find the terminals were shorting. I de-soldered all the leads and re-soldered them with shrink tubing on each lead to avoid shorts. Shrink tubing the entire assembly again to bundle the wires and further protect from shorts. Switches working fine after my redo of the wiring.###
Note from Oznium:
As of April 2012, we will double heat shrink, so this won\'t be a problem.
