This vintage meter is from an era before circuit boards it has discrete wiring and a single tube, walnut case and thoughtful design. The case has been nicely refinished and the batteries almost new. After I replaced the batteries I always disconnected them after use. They are very long lasting but that helps prolong the battery life if you don\'t use it very often. There are no issues with this meter, easy to use and calibrate, the instructions are well written. There are extra points for the four point electrode, the handle wire however is stiff since its been coiled for a long time in the case and there one break in the outer cable housing near the handle. Read the general description in the ninth picture, it is a good description. I checked it with my Delmhorst meter and they are within a percent and a half of each other. This will ship in a large flat rate box, well padded. Also I will disconnect the batteries for shipment, re connecting them is easy and you can then see the inner workings. A really classic instrument!
