TheNI-9208is aC SeriesCurrent Input ModulefromNational Instruments. Supported hardware for theNI 9208card is CompactDAQ/CompactRIO systems. The design of this module is industrial standard. TheNI 9208module has a high-channel density, which makes it more efficient and economical by reducing the overall number of modules needed and leaving terminals open for other measurements. TheNI 9208 National Instruments modulehas a high-resolution mode. In this mode, themoduleremoves a low-frequency noise of 50/60 Hz.
TheNI-9208 Current Input Modulehas 16 analog input channels with a resolution of 24-bits. These channels have Delta-Sigma type ADC. This module supports a scanned sampling mode, and has an input impedance of the channels is 85 Ω. TheNI 9208’s maximum sample rate is 500 S per second, and the device can be used in two modes: High-resolution mode and High-speed mode. The instrument has a maximum power consumption rate of 282 mW in active mode.
The device is compatible with various software packages such as LabVIEW, LabVIEW FPGA module, LabVIEW Real-Time module.
