We believe this microscope to be a Nikon TMD model; however, there is no label on the instrument stating exactly what it is.

Testing & Maintenance Process
The Diaphot TMD was deemed to be functional. However, we do not have the objectives intended to be used with it. Using the objectives we had on hand, our technician:
- Was able to get a sharp image without much magnification of the sample
- Verified the functionality of the phase contrast by examining a microplate irregularity
- Verified that all controls move smoothly and easily
We also lubricated the instrument and performed basic cleaning. However, the instrument could use additional work by someone who knows how to clean microscope optics.

Standard shipping methods are chosen at our discretion, either by USPS First-Class, USPS Priority, or UPS Ground. If you opt not to have express shipping, you will receive free shipping on your parcel item. Items three pounds and under are shipped free via USPS, while parcel items above three pounds are shipped free via UPS. Free shipping is only available for the continental United States. Please contact us for a shipping quote if shipping to the following areas: Alaska, Hawaii, other U.S. territories, and international. Tracking numbers are emailed automatically at the end of the business day, once your shipment has left our facility. UPS overnight is only available until 2pm EST in order for us to ship on the same day. Please call to verify we\'ve received your overnight request. Same-day shipping for overnight shipments is not available during holidays or weekends. Damaged Shipments
If your item arrives damaged by the shipping carrier, please take clear images before & after opening your package to document the extent of the damage. The claim will require pictures of different angles of the box/crate before opening, and the damaged product(s) after opening. Email us immediately with your order number, found on the top of your invoice, along with the images and we\'ll begin the claim process.
Local Pickup/Customer Arranged Shipping
Local pickup is available for those arranging their own freight carriers and direct customer pick up. If customers will require packaging for local pickup or shipping arrangements, New Life Scientific can provide packaging. Basic palletization of a product with foam cushioning is $25. For crating or more significant packaging, please contact us for a quote.
Special Packaging
For high value and high sensitivity items that require special packaging, we use several layers of bubble wrap and shrink wrap to seal the product in a protective bubble so the product always arrives in the condition in which you purchased it. If you check our response you will see we never have any of our equipment arrive damaged due to improper packaging!
International shipping
As previously stated, our standard shipping price listed is only good for the continental United States. Contact us for a quote for international shipments. All standard International Shipments do not offer confirmation or insurance, but they can be included for an additional cost. International Freight
For international freight, please contact us for a custom shipping quote. If you should choose to purchase at our flat rate of $2,000, please know that we will use ocean freight shipping which can take up to a month to arrive.
