DESCRIPTIONHere is an Olympus IX70 Inverted Microscope Pred. to IX71

Currently setup for Brightfield, Phase Contrast and Fluorescence.

Predecessor to:
IX71

Condition:
This Olympus IX70 Microscope is in good working order with all aspects tested and working fully.
Microscope and optics have been professionally cleaned by our technicians under a class 10,000 clean room hood.

Testing we performed:
This IX70 Microscope passed all tests and was found to be fully functional:
Tested Mechanical XY Stage to limits.
Tested Mercury Lamp and source fully.
Tested Halogen lamp and source fully.
Tested the port splitter.
Tested connection from computer to camera and microscope.
Tested Z-axis adjustment and focus.
Tested Live feed to computer.
Tested filters and prisms.
Tested all components of both light paths to be working fully.

This Olympus Inverted Fluorescence Microscope is currently set up for Brightfield with Phase Contrast and Fluorescence studies.
The MU300 AmScope CMOS digital color camera is capable of taking detailed digital images.
This Olympus system includes a Dell Latitude i5 laptop to control the AmScope software.
With Included Objectives of 10x, 20x, and 40x, Eyepieces and internal 1.5x the maximum magnification of this microscope is 600x

Video Description:
The video starts with a general overview of the Olympus IX70 and then camera moves over the fluorescence power supply.
Next we take a look at the Dell laptop running AmScope software.
Then we show the Brightfield path filters before moving down to the stage.
Next we change the magnification from 10x to 20x and 40x.
Finally we show the fluorescence lighting coming through an objective.

For high value and fragile items we highly recommend getting them crated. If you would like to have your item crated we will forward you an actual quote from a local crate manufacturer. All crates confirm to ISPM-15 and will comply with import guidelines in most countries. All crates made with 1/2\" plywood and have foam runners as well as very strong.
