The UES40 SurgMaster is Olympus’s latest electrosurgical unit. With significantly improved performance in cutting and coagulation, the UES-40 covers almost every need where electrosugery is performed. Allows the use of conventional monopolar resectoscopes as well as bipolar and monopolar hand instruments. It even allows you to perform resection in saline. Powered by intelligence, the UES-40 is suitable for open and endoscopic surgery including gastroenterology, gynecology, respiratory and urology. The unit is intuitive to use and easy to set up. Features, automatic smoke evacuation when combined with the UHI-3 Insufflation Unit
Leakage current:
Maximum level of high frequency leakage current was 74mA for pure cut mode and 82mA for spray coagulation mode. Maximum permitted leakage current under the test conditions specified in EN60601-2-2: 2001 is 150mA. Excessive leakage current increases the risk of alternate site burns.
