Pair of Great 14" Vintage Crouse Hinds Explosion Proof Industrial Light Fixtures EVA 215 with cast Zinc guards. These vintage pair of lights, probably from the 1950's, were used for exterior lighting in an industrial setting. The green shades are lightly paint speckled from building painting and upkeep. One shade has a chip on the green and one has a chip on the white inside of one shade. Both shades have a little light rust and rust staining especially near the rims. The fixtures both have a wonderful old patina. The brass identification plates are very oxidized and the zinc lamp parts castings and zinc guard castings are oxidized as well. We opened them up to show the recepticals will take a normal size light bulb. The light bulbs shown in the photos no longer function and we will dispose of them prior to shipping. These lights were not tested.The rubber gaskets that go around the recepticals have dried from age and will need to be replaced. The lights will need re-wiring, it is a good idea to have an electrician do the wiring. The curved pieces of pipe were removed but are included. Straight pieces of pipe can be used for overhead mounting. **** Please look at all of the photos for condition**** A terrific vintage industrial steampunk look! A wonderful lightly worn, used look!
The shades measure 14" diameter. They measure 13" from the top of the fixture to the bottom of the zinc guard. The lights will be shipped partially disassembled and screw back together.
