The shimadzu units are considered legendary and regarded as the best im the indistry. This unit has a magneto-kinetic magndtic levitation bearing system that protects againsy very commim powerloss issues. An emergency shut dont will result in electromagnets levitating the spinning blades untill they slow down emough they then fall omto the regular bearing system and spin out .
The 50ft cord it comes with is actually very rare.
