The Testo 350 exhaust gas analyzer is made up of two separate units
- The testo 350 Control Unit is used to control emission measurements. It has a clearly structured graphic display, and four different menu applications to choose from, including burner / gas turbine / motors / user-defined applications. The instructions on the display guide you through the measurement and make the steps leading up to it easier. This saves both time and hassle. The Control Unit can also be used to control the Analysis Box when it is not at the exhaust gas pipe or measurement site. This is advisable when working on larger systems.
- The testo 350 Analysis Box contains the sensor system and electronics. It comes standard equipped with an O2 gas sensor. At least one more sensor (maximum of six) is needed to operate the Box. Optional sensors include sensors for CO, CO2, NO, NO2, SO2, H2S and CxHy. This unit has the four O2, COH2, NO and NO2 moduals with Fresh Air Dilution and Fresh Air valve.
The increased measuring range (thinning) allows you to carry out unlimited measurements with higher gas concentrations. It is automatically activated when gas concentrations are unexpectedly high. The measuring range of a selected sensor can be increased by a certain factor. An opening on the underside gives you access to the relevant service and wearing parts, such as pumps and filters. The Testo 350 also has numerous diagnosis functions with easy to understand readings and information. The analyzer constantly displays the current reading.
The Analysis Box can be controlled by the Control Unit or operated via USB, Bluetooth® 2.0, or CANCase from a PC or notebook. After the Analysis Box has been programmed, it can carry out measurements independently, save the results, andtransfer the data to the Control Unit.
The testo350 flue gas analyzer comprises two units
- The testo350 Control Unit(separate product) with a clear graphic display, allows you to control emissions measurement. Operation is really easy: burner, gas turbine, engine and user-defined applications are available for selection in the menu. The Control Unit enables remote control of the analyzer unit even when there is a spatial separation of the flue gas pipe and the setting location – particularly recommended for emissions measurements on large plants.
- The testo 350 analyzer unitis just what you need for carrying out emissions measurement, because it contains all the sensor technology and electronics. The Testo 350 analyzer unit includes an O2gas sensor as standard, but at least one additional sensor must be connected for commissioning (can be used with a maximum of 6 sensors). When connecting the optional sensors, you can choose between gas sensors for CO, CO2, NO, NO2, SO2, H2S or CxHy.
The measuring range extension enables unrestricted measurements to be carried out, even when there are high gas concentrations. In order to protect the sensor technology, the measuring range extension (dilution) is automatically activated when there are unexpectedly high gas concentrations. The measuring range of a selected sensor can be extended by a specific factor. The service opening on the underside of the instrument allows fast access to all relevant serviceable and wearing parts, such as pumps and filters, enabling users to clean or replace these. In addition, the testo 350 has numerous instrument diagnosis functions. Instrument notifications are output in cleartext, making them easy to understand. The current status of the flue gas analyzer is constantly displayed.
