Take the hassle out of tissue processing with the Thermo Shandon Excelsior ES. With its integrated reagent pumps, real-time procedure monitoring via its full-color interface, and resource-conscious design, the Excelsior ES is ready to save your lab both time and supplies.
This pre-owned Excelsior ES has been fully tested, serviced, and deemed in perfect operational order here at New Life Scientific. Our techs ran the system through seven pump cycles including an extensive pump-in, pump-out procedure to clear all lines and chambers.
Though there are some light scratches on the top panel of the chassis and stains/general signs of use in the internal chambers, this machine has been preserved well and will still be leaving our shop in better condition than which it came.

Thanks to its integrated pumps, theres no need to manually transfer reagents into other containers. Just pop in one of Thermos official bottles of reagent fluid and start processing samples - no transfer required!

The Excelsior was not engineered just for convenience -- it also contains measures to lengthen your reagent and wax supplies lifespan, thus saving you a pretty penny.
Its reaction chamber contain sensors that detect how many sample levels you\'re using, allowing it to dispense only the amount needed. The system also has a waste wax tray that allows you to empty solely the contaminated wax, leaving you the rest for the next run.

Standard Domestic Shipping
Standard shipping methods are chosen at our discretion, either by USPS First-Class, USPS Priority, or UPS Ground. If you opt not to have express shipping, you will receive free shipping on your parcel item. Items three pounds and under are shipped free via USPS, while parcel items above three pounds are shipped free via UPS. Free shipping is only available for the continental United States. Please contact us for a shipping quote if shipping to the following areas: Alaska, Hawaii, other U.S. territories, and international. Tracking numbers are emailed automatically at the end of the business day, once your shipment has left our facility. UPS overnight is only available until 2pm EST in order for us to ship on the same day. Please call to verify we\'ve received your overnight request. Same-day shipping for overnight shipments is not available during holidays or weekends. If you are sending to a PO Box, your purchase must be shipped via USPS-- either First Class, Priority, or Parcel Post -- without exception.
Freight
For larger and sensitive items that we have designated for freight shipment, New Life Scientific keeps it simple by offering a flat rate of $260 for freight to the lower 48 states.
Damaged Shipments
If your item arrives damaged by the shipping carrier, please take clear images before & after opening your package to document the extent of the damage. The claim will require pictures of different angles of the box/crate before opening, and the damaged product(s) after opening. Email us immediately with your order number, found on the top of your invoice, along with the images and we\'ll begin the claim process.
Local Pickup/Customer Arranged Shipping
Local pickup is available for those arranging their own freight carriers and direct customer pick up. If customers will require packaging for local pickup or shipping arrangements, New Life Scientific can provide packaging. Basic palletization of a product with foam cushioning is $25. For crating or more significant packaging, please contact us for a quote.
Special Packaging
For high value and high sensitivity items that require special packaging, we use several layers of bubble wrap and shrink wrap to seal the product in a protective bubble so the product always arrives in the condition in which you purchased it. If you check our response you will see we never have any of our equipment arrive damaged due to improper packaging!
International shipping
As previously stated, our standard shipping price listed is only good for the continental United States. Contact us for a quote for international shipments. All standard International Shipments do not offer confirmation or insurance, but they can be included for an additional cost. All International customers are responsible for their country\'s duties & taxes. Please check with your country\'s requirements before purchasing.
International Freight
For international freight, please contact us for a custom shipping quote. If you should choose to purchase at our flat rate of $2,000, please know that we will use ocean freight shipping which can take up to a month to arrive.
International Shipping Restrictions
In order to be eligible for standard international shipment, items must have a final sale price of at least $150. In order to be eligible for international freight shipments, items must have a final sale price of $1,500.
