Description
Here\'s a used TrueTime/Symmetricom XL-DC TCXO GPS time receiver/oscillator. This unit has a network interface card installed which acts as a Stratum 1 NTP server when the GPS receiver clock is locked. This card has been tested using a simple AUI to Ethernet adapter(usually available for under $20) and confirmed to act correctly as an NTP server. The T1 timing card has not been tested but I have no reason to believe that it isn\'t working as it should. A basic antenna is included to help you test the receiver out of the box. A professional grade outdoor antenna with a full view of the sky will be needed for the item to perform to full specification. The Antenna supply voltage is 5V so almost any professional type conical antenna with a gain of 26dB or greater should work well. The date should be correct when you start your testing, but if not you may need to use the Set Year function to dial in the correct year first.
This unit has three sine wave frequency outputs 10MHz (upper right BNC), 5MHz (adjacent to the 10MHz) and 1MHz (top middle BNC). Rack ears are included as shown.
