That\'s what drew me to this piece. This is a very \"Surfing Cowboys\" mid-century piece which was purchased at the estate sale of an elder hippie lady in Venice CA, displaced by hipster gentrification.
This is very cool. It\'s a legit mid-century piece, apparently made by \"one of (her) lovers.\" eww
Judging from her age and the materials / plywood base, I\'mguessing late 1950\'s.
It\'s quite beautiful. Hand carved and one-of-a-kind gorgeous. We are talking coffee table stuff.
