Life Saving Equipment
Room 25 Foster Office Bldg.
Hartford, Conn. Dec. 26, 1913
To Mr. N. N. Hill
East Hampton, Conn.
Mr. Hill was President of the N.N. Hill Co. Makers of Bells, etc. He was offering Mr. Hill one quarter interest in his invention for a life saving device. Apparently rope was coiled in the can & it fed out as a person lowered himself to the ground. He states that he had demonstrated this to the present Hartford, Conn. Fire Chief Moran (1913) and former chiefs Eaton & Loomis.
The photo is on a 3 ½” x 5 ½” post card. On the back is a full description and costs, etc. A minor stain on card & top of envelope from paper clip, otherwise fine.
