This unit is brand new in the box. It is a kit and the instructions tell you how to put it together. I have searched on the internet and can\'t find this item anywhere.Box shows shelf wear on it from age. It was sealed and I opened it up to verify its contents for the sale and pics. The front face piecemeasures 3x4\". The tape on the box says no. 171-3218-9. And on the instructions they are dated 1971.Comes as shown in the pics. Ready for use.... The instructions say..... The Heathkit Troubleshooter Volt-Ohmmeter is an accurate and convenient meter for making resistance and voltage checks on any assembled electronic kit. With the Troubleshooter you can make resistance measurements before you apply power to a new kit to double check the assembly of various critical circuits. then after you plug the kit in, you can make voltage measurements to indicate wheather or not a circuit is functioning properly.....
