Here we have a vintage Ames No. 212 dial micrometer with original box. This instrument is in nice condition. The plastic lens is clean and the dial turns smoothly. The return is crisp. The lock works as it should. This instrument has not been tested but was purchased from the estate of a Shell Oil engineer and is being sold as-is.Shipping weight, well packed, is 1 lb.
