This is a very cute vintage 1970s stapler, made in Japan.I tried it out with some miniature staples that go in a Swingline Tot stapler and it worked fine for me.
The stapler measures 4\" long x 3\" high and 2\" wide, and is made out of a heavy resin type material.
It is painted pink and features a really cute sleeping cat with little white and red flowers on its back.
The actual metal stapler is glued to the resin base. The glue has yellowed over the years.
The stapler is stamped \"JAPAN\" on the bottom.
It has been used, as you can see from the photos. There are some scuff marks that did not come off when I gave the stapler a light cleaning.
