Item:You are offerding on an antique surgical set of forceps used for birthing. The forceps are two separate pieces that come together to form the instrument.
Measurements: The forceps measure approximately 15\" long X 3 1/8\" at the widest point when closed X 2 7/8\" tall when laid flat on the table.
Condition:The forceps appear to be in decent overall condition, with some prominent signs of wear from usage and aging of this piece. The piece has rust on some areas, and there are several areas where the finished outer layer appears to have chipped off and is now showing a darker under layer. There is scratching on this piece from usage and storage over the years. Please see the photographs below for a more detailed depiction of the condition of this item.
