Well isn\'t this a beauty ? I thought you\'d say that . I won this incredible antique years ago and the shipping company ( nameless ) handled it roughly and there was a crack in the grinder housing . It has been repaired to my satisfaction and no damage is apparent from the outside . The nature of cast iron welding , in order to be as strong as the original casting , some visible weld beads on the interior must be left . As I said for the strength of the weld repair .
This #7 all original except drawer and baseplate and I found the top a good fit to keep anything from ever falling in there , is in excellent working condition . The paint was touched up around where the welding was done and really came out fine.
