Here is a USED vintage Benjamin electric horn; these seem to be used in industrial/commercial applications for various purposes such as break time announcements, fire drills, etc. This horn has been tested and it does work. It sounds more like a very loud buzzer than a horn. Works with 115 volts a.c. I have no way to date this item, but I would guess it dates from somewhere in the 1940\'s or \'50\'s. You can tell it\'s old, but it is not all beat up, bent, or abused. There is enough wire sticking out of the box to test/hook it up, but I would recommend maybe changing the wire, as this wire\'s covering is starting to come loose. The horn is securely attached to its base, which has a male plug that plugs into the female receptacle inside the box. What you see is what you get.
