Vintage Black & DeckerStowaway Step StoolFolds for StorageModel 9600You are looking at a vintage Black & Decker Stowaway step stool, model 9600. It is in excellent condition with some rust on the feet and some paint loss.
The \"Stowaway\" folds to 1\" thick. When the step stool is unfolded, it is 16 1/2\" high, 18\" wide, and 16 1/2\" deep. The bottom step is 8\" above the floor.
There is a non-slip covering on both steps.
The step stool is very sturdy. It sits solidly on the floor. There is a lever on the top step that locks the step stool into position, so it cannot fold up until the lever is released.
The back of the top step has a handle for carrying the step stool when it is folded.
