The Ace Stapler Model 102, also known as the Ace 102 Standard, has been around since the 1930’s, but has since been discontinued. The earliest patent was submitted Jan 22, 1930 and was approved March 3, 1936. It was advertised as the \"most rugged of all commercial staplers, featuring all-steel construction with a chrome finish. Staples, pins and fastens as many as 30 sheets of 16 lb. paper\". The Ace 102 Standard stapler was made in Chicago, Illinois by the Ace Fastener Corp. Uses Ace 2025 staples (not included). Made in USA. Approximate measurements are 7 ½” long x 2” wide x 4 ¼” tall. Unusual tension pulley design for loading staples (lets you see how many you have left). Unusual plate at the front allows you to fashion the type of closure ends you’d like on your staples (I believe the standard way with the ends tucked under or “butterflied” with the ends flared out). Patents listed on the bottom of the stapler (2033018, 2033049, 2056480,2112941). The earliest patent was submitted Jan 22, 1930 and was approved March 3, 1936. It was invented by William F.
