Up for sale is a Vintage Federal C21 Dial Indicator .0001 Gauge.I inherited this item from my father who was a toolmaker for 36 years.Sorry but I know absolutely nothing about this instrument.I would guess this item is approx. 70 years old at most based on the time my father began working as a toolmaker.When you push the plunger(?) at the end of the shaft the dial spins freely.That is about the extent of my knowledge of this item.I strive to describe items honestlyand to the best of my ability and the above description is from my ownobservation and is not the opinion of an expert.
