Good pre-owned condition with average wear. It appears to have been serviced sometime in the past 15 or so years as evident by the repair label on the device having a website address. I don\'t know exactly when it was serviced as I bought this from a Salvation Army but it seems to be in normal working shape to me. The only thing that I\'ve noticed about this is that the motor is loud and I\'m not sure if that\'s normal for this machine or not. I\'m thinking it probably is.Story time! I remember using one like this at high school back in the 80s in typing class. As you can see I had a bit of a hard time using it now with spelling mistakes galore. Basically I\'m so used to a modern keyboard typing and this is a bit different as you do have to press down a bit harder to get them to function and at a different key angle. I\'m sure I could get used to it with an hour or so of practice. Sadly I couldn\'t figure out how to erase on this and there are no videos online to show me how. If someone could tell me how to do that, then I can check that to see if that functions properly as well.Anyway, it has three elements (balls), one in the machine and two as seen in the images. Has two extra ink tape spools, but one appears almost completely spent and the other seems barely used. There are a lot of little eraser spools, some used and I think a box of unsued ones perhaps? Please check all the different shipping options on this. It\'s super heavy though and may be too expensive to ship to you vs. one you can get locally in your part of the USA. If someone in the Utica NY area (that\'s dead center in New York State) would like this, then please contact me and local pick up arrangements can be made.
