We are selling a vintage Jewell VU meter level indicator -20 to +3 dB scale for a Phase Linear 400 ampilfier. The front of the meter measures about 4-5/8 x 4-3/16\" and the round rear sections has a diameter of 2-5/8\". We tested the meter with our multi-meter and results are below. The meter has wear from use and storage like scratches, scuffs and dust. Meter included mount hardware and original bezel. The front bezel has some wear like scratches, scuff, paint chips and dust. -Tested with a ohms meter on the + and - posts and we saw needle deflection.
We do not have the proper tools to test audio signal through this VU meter and all testing was completed using a standard multi-meter on the Ohms setting.
