Vintage Stephens Consistometer Chicago Illinois, was not able to find out anything regarding this machine or the company that manufactured it, I believe it is use to test the consistency or viscosity of liquids, I did not test the machine, for fear of damaging it, the case it comes in is falling apart , the stitching has dried out and has come apart, this thing is extremely heavy, probably close to 40 pounds, I will ship it, but would suggest pick up if posible.
