Vintage Megger Insulation Tester, Variable Voltage up to 500V, Midget Type. Hand crank in a bakelite case with protective leather cover and alligator clip lead in excellent condition. Appears to be working correctly. The hand crank is folded when not in use, and when turned it drives the internal dynamo. The unit will test up to 500 volts and resistance up to 20 MOhms. There is good resistance when cranked and the needle moves. This was made in England and sold by the James G. offerdle Company in Philadelphia, PA. Leather case is in great shape with only minor wear at the hinge.
