I saw that someone else solved a similar problem by removing the email setup application and reinstalling it with the BlackBerry Desktop Software. You'll need to download and install the OS to your computer first, though. If the OS isn't up to date, I would just update the software to the latest. You can get it here:

Hi I am just wondering, I have another problem:


I have tried to upgrade my blackberry OS, but it does not work. Every single time I try to do this, I get an error message that I need 6 more megabytes in order to upgrade. However, I actually Have 4.8 gigs of internal memory to work with. I have no idea what is going on, and I have been trying to upgrade my OS for the past 8 hours or so with the same result (deleting applications, pictures etc.)

Actually, I was using the windows 7 version. It still has this problem.

I have the latest software available, and it still has this issue. I really don't want a hard wipe done ot my blackberry, but this is increasingly going to be the case from the looks of it.

The underlying issue is that my blackberry cannot connect to the blackberry server or the internet (except via wifi) and I really need to be able to use BBM. Blackberry tech support is completely unhelpful and seems like they do not even know what they are doing.

Thanks for useful tips. Some of them I have already seen on other forums. But there are many new ones, which I find really great. I am from the UK, Weymouth webcam. And I truly believe that sometimes users' comments and reviews give you more reasonable advice than any official manual. You can see the most common problems and successful solutions to them.
