Nothing here yet

I really wish someone from AT&T would step up and fill us in on this. I don't mind if I have to wait a week or a month, as long as I know that I'm waiting that long. The way they handled it this year was really disappointing. Nobody to call, no way to know if or when we will be getting the phones, nothing. I have sent an email to the address that we used to register for the event and didn't get a reply.

How will 8900 be compared to BOLD? WiFi? I wish AT&T would keep the red numerals on their keyboard.

Of course I'll be glad when TOUR is launched......AT&T 3G is scarce in these parts and VZW has 1XEV Rev A throughout my area.

Kinda weird though that BOLD has 2.0 mxp camera and 8900 has 3.2.

I'm not important enough to get my tickets paid for, but I'm trying to wangle the free 8900 my boss is getting for going to the at&t party!

I know....this sucks. It's typical AT&T. Build up something and get people worked up, then leave them hanging. No information, no response to emails, no follow up email after the event, nothing. Great way to treat their "VIPs".

I hold Kenny Loggins responsible.

Very nice. A friend and I also attended the ATT WES event and heard that they will be shipping us the 8900 when it's released. (which was awhile ago) We have responded to barcode invatation email but not not gotten any response back. Let me know if you hear anything more Horrigan.

Nope, it just showed up.

Did you sign out when you left the event at the table?

Nope. When I left I asked if I had to do anything special and they said that when they scanned the barcode on my invitation that I was all set.

Same experience here.. hoping mine comes in today or Monday!

I signed up previous to the event (2-3 weeks) and was scanned upon entry, and upon leaving they waved me on and said there was no need to do so when leaving.

Let's see... who was I with at the time?
