Will do thanks for the info.

Installed the beta on my bold. Love the shortcuts and larger screens. However the forecast/hi-lo preference does not update the icon even after a battery pull.

Did ya get it working.

Yep. Deleted, reloaded and battery pull. That gave me the conditions icon update and later (for reasons unknown) the temps w/hi-lo

Really like the new features.

What about for Storm 2?

Testing now - GPS is never reliable.

Overall the app is slow

Is this going to be the free version of WeatherBug or some trial that expire when the beta test is done?

I understand this beta will be the free version. I'm sure the elite version will have the same new features.

kinda useless app - can't find "My Location" - keeps "loading" screen

Works great on my 8530... Loads fast and no issues... I might have to purchase the Elite version so I can get rid of them stoooooooopid ads...

We have also added support for 4.5 devices. You can download this version below: (put http : // in front of links) :

Downloaded the v.5.0 (blackberry.weatherbug.com/download/beta/nontouch/50/50.jad)
Finding location does not work, getting into a loop (it tells me to look for location, etc.) that doesn't end... What gives? (BB 9700)

Does not update

I love weatherbug. I've had it for years on my home computers, so I was excited to see it was available for the blackberries. I downloaded yesterday no problem and I do like it. It just needs one fix if possible; the home screen does not update every half hour/hour (whatever you set it at). To see it on the homescreen you have to:

enter the program, then exit, then move the cursor away from the icon, then bring back on the icon to see the h/l temps. Kind of quirky. Other than that...love it!
