Cannot Use AppWorld
 

I am using 8820 with generic data plan (not BES or BIS). I tried to install AppWorld on my phone. Success! But when I launch the application, there is an error message which goes "Invalid signature ..." and then the AppWorld will terminate when I click OK.

I tried to research online but to no avail. My WiFi is not on and I did a battery pull and re-installation. The AppWorld version is 1.1.0.33. Can't seem to find 1.1.0.35.

Anyone has any solution?? Also, how do I install apps outside of AppWorld? I mean is there way to skip AppWorld and install App using Desktop Manager instead?

App World requires a Blackberry data plan to work.

Yes, you can install apps via DM if you can find the correct files for the apps. Mostly you download from other sites, via the browser OTA (over the air) direct to your phone.

Gotta have a BB data plan for the RIM related services, and BB App World is one.

Can i add a customised service book to enable the App World? Basically, I can run and surf App World before I receive the error prompt.
