Bluetoothing Business cards

My old phone allowed me to bluetooth a business (contact) card to someone else's phone/PDA. I've searched the forum as well as the manuals and cannot seem to figure out how to do it. Can anyone help?

Not possible on any BB at this time. Phone to phone Bluetooth is not an option. This is due to security issues, so I personally don't think it will happen in the near future, but who knows.

Hope this helps, but I know it's not the answer you wanted.

Thanks for your response! Whilst not the answer I wanted, you have prevented me from wasting a lot of time searching for a non-existent capability. We also use the BT messaging capability in many of our safety review meetings. Since only the lead engineer can sit at the board table and ask/respond to questions, other engineers supporting the flight can BT questions/comments to the lead who will share the comment or response with the board. I was hoping to be able to depend on the BB for this capability as well, but will have to continue to rely on my HP HX4700 PDA for that capability. BTW - SMS text is "not an option" because several of the buildings we have meetings in are "Tempest-proof" and do not allow a wireless signal to penetrate the building.

You're allowed to take bluetooth capable devices into a tempest environment? That's very surprising to me!

Wow. Kind of defeats the whole purpose.

I probably should have indicated that the building is no longer used for secure operations that require the tempest environment. The building is riddled with asbestos that would have to removed in order to get the shielding out, thus it's not worth attempting any overhaul of the building. It's an annoyance to have to walk outside to use the cell, but the building is in nicer shape than many others on site.
