Serious Texting Issue: 8830/Sprint
 

For some reason at night my text message become extremely slow on the incoming. My friends recieve them within a minute that I send them, but it takes sometimes up to 20-25 minutes for a response. This has been happening to me every night and it's annoying. I pulled out the battery and I have the latest software available. Any thoughts or ideas as to what this might be?

SMS is a carrier issue since it is all done via phone, not BB data. Probably should call your carrier.

intruth most SMS is handled via a third party. though your point of contact is the carrier. keep in mind none of the carriers guarantee timely delivery of texts. delays happen at night is generally the busiest time for texts. and for some reason some carriers text to another carrier always seems to be slow

Every night around the same time it happens. I may call Sprint.
