Simulator and web browser
Hi,
I would like to access to internet / intranet with my Blackberry simulator for test purpose. I understood that we need to run the MDS first. From a command line box, I'm running the run.bat command. I have a lots of lines with { Pre-pending to the BMDS_CLASSPATH .... then nothing. If I run the command line: "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06\bin\java" -classpath !BMDS_CLASSPATH!;!BMDS_CLASSPATH2!;!BMDS_CLASSPATH 3! -DKeystore.Password=password net.rim.application.ipproxyservice.IPProx yServiceApplication -log.console.dump I have the following error: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/rim/application/ipproxyservice/IPProxyServiceApplication Can anybody help me? Cheers |
sounds like you may have the incorrect java version installed on your computer.

Thank you for your answers ...
1/ My Java version is the latest: JAVA HOME C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06\bin 2/ I don't think I'm behind a proxy server. If I open in Internet Explorer Tools / IE Options / Connections / LAN settings, nothing is defined here ... |
try searching the developer forum at blackberry.com for "classpath" and "mds", might be some help there, unfortunately this is an area that people rarely spend time on as when it's set up you never have to go back to it, but people have had trouble like you describe before and there is plenty of info in that forum.

try here: Livelink - Redirection

Thank you but I have already tried that :-(
I had a look on the internet and found only one similar case. The guy just said it solved it without explaining how he did it ... :-( |
I always invoke the MDS from the shortcut link that was installed by the JDE. Maybe I'm not uber-l33t I dunno.
