Question: Main page and Menu page in Tour settings.

On the main page of Tour, there is a ringer/volume icon located on the top left corner. How can I change this or make it disappear? I always click on this mistakenly. I only want the bottom role icons to appear.

Also is there a way to make the main page to have all the icons appear (like it is on the menu page) rather than the only 5 or 6 icons by default? I don't care for the main page with limited number of icons. If this isn't possible, do you know of any themes that will accomplish this? Thanks!

When I went to Tour from 8830 the main page (called Today) was an annoyance until I got used to it. I always had to press berry button (left of trackball) to get to the main page 90% of the time, but then its nice to see full wallpaper without icons covering it up.

I guess you ll have to find a theme that does not use Today page. Warining -- any time you change to another theme, you will lose your perfect icon arrangment and have to redo it in that theme. But if you return back to the original theme, your icons are "remembered". Annoyance but...

Can I list pending Tasks or today's appointment in the main Today page?

Unless your Tour came with a pre-installed Today theme (mine didn't), you will have to find one and download it to have appointments, etc. on the home screen.

Look in the Media Center section here, I think there are some today themes for the Tour there. You can also check at the BlackBerryAPPS Store, link upper left side of this page and at other BB sites.

I am with Sprint, and their default Theme does not include Today, so I have nothing displayed on the main page except for the bottom row and the sound profile icon on the top left along with all the tiny indicator icons on the top with the clock.

Same with Verizon. Mine came with 2 themes -- Verizon Zen and Precision Zen. I haven't downloaded any 3rd party themes yet, just have changed wallpapers several times.
