Still no HTML email after 4.5 update?
 

So I upgraded to the 4.5 OS last night. The version that I used is 4.5.066. I have the HTML box checked in the email settings. So does this version not have HTML integrated? Seems to be a real smooth OS. Found a bunch of new features.

It is in there. HTML should work for all new messages.

You will only get it on email from this point on, not on email already on the BB.

I have my html settings to always display html automatically...but it never happens. Is there something that I'm missing?

HTML email is also dependant on BES 4.1.6 or BIS 2.5.

I got a few emails and they did not come in correctly. Is there a setting on the device I missed? Is the .66 version ok?

What is not correctly. What are you seeing and what are you expecting.

What I'm expecting is emails to be viewed cleanly. Images not links. What I'm getting now is very messy garbled emails. Before 4.5 my emails were just links.

Are they new emails, after you updated, resent the service books and did a hard rest.

I just got an email from Sirius Satellite and all the pictures were blank boxes. When I had BBSmart HTML Program installed images would show.

Ok did you click the menu key and select get images.

I select get images but still nothing.

Doh!!!! I just selected "Get Images" and it worked. I was hoping it did this automatically.
