Phone went for swim wont power 4 red flashes
 

K I have a 8330 curve and I let my son play with the phone. Needless to say it took about a 30 min dive in a kiddie pool. the phone was at the bottom and when I retrieved it it was full of water. I took the phone apart Immediately and let it dry for 3 days I also used a blow-dryer to make sure it was super dry. I placed my battery in and nothing. The phone will get an immediate red light as soon as the battery is put in, after that a blank pause then the red LED flashes 4 times pauses fro 2 seconds and flashes 4 times again. The LCD screen wont come on or light up, but sometimes my keypad lights up. I dont have bb desktop manager cos im on a linux pc that dont belong to me. BTW my phone is hacked to work on a different carrier. Any way I can fix it?

oh btw I can still access my phones files through usb.
Oh well if it is a goner it was a good phone while it lasted. I can sell it for parts on CL or ebay but I gotta get my pix out first. :(

If it stayed there that long and you tried to power it up without drying it thoroughly first, I'd agree with the above. Time to get a new device.
