hey just wondering if you all think this is a good plan or if I can do better,

Thanks for taking your time for a soon to be new blackberry owner.

This is what I am offered right now, IN your opinion, what else do you think I can get out of this before netering into another 3 yr contract.

Long distance is 40 cents per minute, this bothers me, so I would like to see this lowered. but what do you guys think. Hoping to get the Torch this week. :)

I see 1G data but I don't see BB data associated with the plan. You need BB data to access all of the RIM related services such as email, BBM, Facebook, maps, etc.

Your carrier may also require a BB data plan rather than the plan you might think you want. Many do this. Don't know what the cost is from Bell however.

I checked the Bell site and was not able to get a 1Gig blackberry plan with some of the selections you mention. I was only able to get the 1gig with the plan below. They offered no indication of unlimited text but it may be included in the plan. Not a price that is out of line with other carriers.

so I signed and got the phone today.

I ended up getting unlimited text, unlimited picture and video sending,

200 any time minutes,

unlimited evening weekends 6-7

and the big thing for me was unlimited data
and 4 cents long distance

57.00 a month.

If you don't have BB data, then you don't have email, BBM, Facebook, maps, the BB browser, App World or any of the other RIM services.

yes this is the Blackberry Data. Not even sure why a provider would offer any other form of data to someone getting a Blackberry. Nonetheless, It is unlimited Blackberry data. So I am good to go. :)

If you say so. I could not find any unlimited Blackberry data plans on their site. If i were you I would make a call and verify the plan and it's levels. no matter what i entered on the Bell site, not once did it offer unlimited blackberry data.

ATT no longer offers unlimited data also.
